Kevin Pineda Gould is a Mexican-born New York City-based fine art photographer specializing in black and white street photography. Formally trained in classical piano, music composition, and film production, his creative journey into photography began in earnest during the 2020 pandemic lockdown. In documenting the rapidly changing city, Gould discovered a new visual language — one that explores the relationship between people and environment, balancing the documentary with the dreamlike.
His work has earned international recognition, including two solo exhibitions in SoHo, NYC, an award from The Independent Photographer and an upcoming feature in Black+White Photography Magazine. Gould’s photographs have been published in Vogue, showcased by Leica Camera, and celebrated widely on social media.
His first book, Discovering Light, is a visual symphony that captures the soul of New York City in the post-pandemic era. Independently published, the book has garnered worldwide acclaim, with copies sold in over 25 countries and throughout the United States.
Through photography workshops and mentorship, Kevin empowers emerging photographers to discover their unique voice within the dynamic urban landscape.
