Formally trained in classical piano, music composition & film production, Kevin Pineda Gould's interest in street photography flourished in New York City in 2018. Gould’s journey into street photography stemmed from his search for creative expression during the pandemic lockdown of 2020 as he began to document the city's rapid changing nature. His work explores the connection between people and their environments, balancing the dreamlike with the documentary.

Gould’s first solo exhibit debuted at the Peak Design Store and Gallery in SoHo, NYC, in 2023. His art has been celebrated globally through social media and was awarded in the 2024 Black-and-White Street Photography Awards from The Independent Photographer by renowned Magnum Photographer Nikos Economopoulos. His work with monochrome photography has also gained the recognition of brands such as Leica Camera and has been published in Vogue.

Gould is the author of Discovering Light, a visual symphony of photography and design illuminating the soul of New York City in a post-pandemic era.

Through his workshops and mentorship, he continues to inspire photographers to unearth their unique visions within the ever-evolving cityscape.
