Join photographer Kevin Pineda Gould for a two-hour shooting session through the streets of New York City.
Unlike the Bespoke 4-Hour Workshop, which is a structured deep dive into photographic theory, intuition, and personal narrative, the NYC Photo Walk Experience is about being out in the city and responding to what is happening around us.
We’ll walk, photograph, and look together. I’ll show you how I read light as it changes, anticipate moments before they happen, work with the movement of the city, and find photographs in scenes that might otherwise pass unnoticed. You’ll be shooting alongside me throughout, seeing how I approach photography in real time.
Whether you’re a hobbyist looking for a fresh perspective, a photographer visiting New York City who wants to experience the city through a more observant eye, or simply someone who wants to spend a couple of hours photographing with another photographer, this is an opportunity to get out and make pictures together.
All skill levels and camera types are welcome.
A highly visual, geographically tight route shaped by the day’s light, shadows, architecture, movement, and whatever the city happens to give us.
An inside look at how I anticipate moments, work with camera angles, and respond to the constantly changing rhythm of the street.
A shared creative space. I’ll be photographing alongside you, pointing out scenes, framing possibilities, and observations as they happen.
The final 15 minutes will be spent over a quick coffee or bodega stop, where we can look through a few of your favorite frames on the back of your camera and talk photography.
To keep the experience intimate and maneuverable on busy city streets, each walk is limited to a maximum of three participants. Your booking is private to your party—you will never be grouped with strangers.
